Taylor Steed founded FourT Realty with her father Tom in 2010. She is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and managing of all commercial and residential real estate ventures for FourT Realty. She also serves as the asset manager for the retail portfolio. Over the last decade, Ms. Steed has developed from the ground-up five projects, repositioned two retail centers, and divested of three strategic land investments.
Prior to relocating to Austin, Taylor was an associate in the Debt Placement Group at Eastdil Secured in New York City. While there, she successfully closed more than $1.5 billion of permanent and interim financing, and more than $500 million of secondary loan sales. Prior to joining Eastdil Secured, Taylor was an associate with Capmark, also in New York, and an analyst with Clark Realty Capital in Washington, D.C.
Taylor is a licensed real estate salesperson in Texas and an active member of the community. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for The SAFE Alliance. Ms, Steed served on the executive committee and board of The Real Estate Council of Austin for six years. During her tenure she lead RECA’s Affordability Committee, Membership Committee and Policy Committee. She also served on the Board of Directors of The Hill Country Conservancy for six years including several years on the executive committee, and two years chairing the Violet Crown Trail committee. She is also involved in many industry organizations, including the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated cum laude with distinction as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Ryan, their son, and very spoiled spaniel.
